These terms apply when you order from Keychains Kenya ("we", "us"): on keychainskenya.co.ke, on WhatsApp, by phone or at our office. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them, especially the parts on your design, cancellations and refunds.

1. What we make
We make personalised stainless steel keychains, laser engraved with the words, photos, Spotify codes, dates and designs you choose, and small attachments for initials. Each one is made for you, to your design.
The preview in our designer is a close simulation of the finished keychain. The final engraving may vary slightly in tone, and photos are engraved as fine dots, so very small details may be simplified.
2. Your design
- Please check your design before you order: spelling, names, dates, numbers and layout. We engrave the design you approve.
- If we send you a design proof, approving it confirms the design.
- Only use photos, logos and words you have the right to use. We may refuse a design that is offensive, unlawful or uses someone else's work without permission; if you have already paid for it, we refund you.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in Kenya shillings (KES). The total at checkout includes what you added to your design and, if you choose delivery, the delivery fee.
- You pay by M-Pesa: Lipa na M-Pesa, Buy Goods and Services, Till Number 8002135. The name on the M-Pesa confirmation is Fourbrands Print Solutions. You then enter the M-Pesa code, the amount and the phone number you paid from.
- Orders up to KES 5,000 are paid in full. On larger orders you can pay a 50% deposit; the balance is paid before your order is delivered or picked up.
- We start making your order once we have confirmed your payment on our M-Pesa statement. Each M-Pesa code can only be used once. If we can't find your payment, we contact you.
4. Making your order
Most orders are ready between 2 hours and 3 days after we confirm payment. At busy times it can take longer; if it will, we let you know.
5. Delivery and pick-up
- Pick up at our office at Twiga Towers, Nairobi: free.
- Rider within Nairobi CBD: KES 150. Rider within Nairobi, outside the CBD: KES 300.
- Courier outside Nairobi: KES 500, to the courier office you name, where you collect it.
Please give a correct location and a phone number we can reach. Delivery times depend on the rider or courier. Once your order is delivered to you or collected, it is in your care.
6. Cancellations
Each keychain is made to order for you, so a paid order can't be cancelled. Please check your design and details before you pay.
7. Returns and refunds
- Change of mind: personalised keychains can't be returned or refunded if you simply change your mind.
- If we got it wrong: if the engraving doesn't match the design you approved, or the keychain arrives damaged or faulty, tell us within 7 days of receiving it, with a photo. We make it again at no cost to you. If we can't, we refund what you paid for it, to the M-Pesa number you paid from.
- Not covered: mistakes in a design you approved (for example a misspelt name you typed), normal wear from use, and loss or damage after delivery.
8. Your account
Keep your password private; you are responsible for orders placed from your account. You can sign in with Google. We may suspend an account that is used to misuse the site.
9. Reviews
Reviews you post may be shown on our website with your first name and the first letter of your surname. Please keep them honest; we may remove reviews that are offensive or unrelated to your order.
10. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 of Kenya. Apart from those rights, our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

How we use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms shown on this page when you placed your order are the ones that apply to it.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya deal with any dispute.
